About the Image to PDF
Image to PDF puts one or more pictures into a single PDF document, with one image per page. It is useful for turning photos of documents into a file you can email, for submitting scanned certificates, or for making a simple photo album.
You can choose the page size, orientation and margin, and reorder the pictures before creating the file.
How to use the Image to PDF
- Choose your images or drag them onto the box.
- Use the arrow buttons to set the order of the pages.
- Choose the page size, orientation and margin.
- Press Create PDF and download the document.
How it works
Each image is embedded in a new PDF page using the open-source pdf-lib library. With a fixed page size such as A4, the picture is scaled to fit inside the margins and centred, keeping its proportions. With fit to image, the page takes the exact size of the picture.
JPG and PNG images are embedded directly. Other formats such as WebP are converted first so that they can be placed in the PDF.
Your files stay private
This tool works entirely inside your browser. The files you choose are read and processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers, so your documents and pictures remain private.
Frequently asked questions
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and other formats your browser can open, including WebP and GIF. Animated images use their first frame.
Will image quality be reduced?
JPG and PNG files are embedded without recompression, so quality is kept.
How can I make the PDF smaller?
Compress or resize the images with our Image Compressor or Image Resizer first, then create the PDF.
